What can I say the food the hip the cabins superb. The guides superb I had walid very knowedgable and so easy to approach. However the star of the cruise was without doubt Mohammad Saiid Up before us not in bed until we all went in fact one night I stayed up due to an early call and Mohammad was up all night to talk with and ensure everything was fine. Such dedication to his job such passion for his country and its treasures and such pride for his people. It’s so inspiring and any company should be proud of such a man. I would heartily recommed this ship the staff and the expertise and dedication of the tour leader Mohammad to all. Fantastic experiance. Will go again.

I would like to thank you for a wonderful holiday. There is nothing that I can fault, the ship’s cleanliness was excellent, the staff were brilliant and the excursions were stunning. Everything was well organised, and there were always staff on hand if there were any problems. I will definately be recommending this holiday to friends. Thank you again, and I hope you can pass our thanks onto the egyptian staff as well.

A great holiday was had by us all (two oldies, two young twenties and an 18 year old). We decided to book the trip on the Nile River Cruise after our youngest daughter had expressed her passion for wanting to visit the pryamids. What an amazing time we had. We did all the trips offered and booked three others as well. It was the end of June so the weather was pretty hot - but carry plenty of water and its fine. The organisation was exceptional and the tour guides made the trip. They were knowledgeable and passionate about their subject - their enthusiasm evident from the first trip to the last. The boat was very clean and staff so friendly, food also very good with quite a lot of choice. We did as much as possible and are glad we did. Our daughter summed it up when she said “well the trip was everything I thought it would be and MORE - I loved it!!”

We returned yesterday (9th July 2007) from what was one of the best holidays we have had in years. Our first pleasant surprise was to find your rep at the airport to help us through a difficult check in caused by the increased security alert after the Glasgow car fire. First Choice with unfailing good service and humour got us to Luxor on time and the reception there was friendly and efficient. Mohammad Saiid made our cruise a pleasure from start to finish and our extremely knowledgeable guide Mrs Manal was unfailingly courteous. Food excellent and totally committed and friendly people at all levels. I would recommend your company to everyone.

I have just returned from the Nile Cruise and would like to say it was a wonderful experience. From Leaving Manchester on 2nd July 2007 the organisation and everything associated with the trip was excellent. The transfers and excursions were well planned and the guides extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The ship and the staff on board were first class and the accomodation and food superb - both beautifully presented. I cannot find a single fault with anything. Well done and I look forward to returning.

Having just returned from a week’s cruise on the Nile together with a week in the Sonesta St George, Luxor we wanted to write to say how much we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. All we keep telling people is “The holiday was truly amazing”.
Everything about the cruise, hotel, excursions and treatment we received was superb and far exceeded our expectations. We don’t know if African Safari Club had any say in the room we were allocated on Sonesta St George but we were given a suite. Fantastic.

I am no different from others who are quick to complain when holidays fail to match their expectations. However, my wife and I have just returned from a 7-day Nile cruise aboard the Star of Luxor and wished to congratulate you and your local Egyptian representatives on providing us with one of the best holidays we have ever enjoyed.

The tour leader, Mohammed, and Rania, our dedicated guide, arranged every aspect of the holiday, friendliness and attention to detail were exceptional. This was mirrored by the crew of the Star of Luxor who worked tirelessly to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of the passengers. Mohammed called us “his family” and it truly felt as though you were amongst friends and family from the moment we first stepped aboard.

The accommodation aboard the Star of Luxor was comfortable and cleaned to a better standard than I have ever experienced in 4 and 5 star hotels in many parts of the world including the UK. The food in the restaurant would also have put several of those hotels to shame as well. For medical reasons my wife has to be careful about her diet, but there wasn't a single meal where she struggled to find food that she was able to eat and which she enjoyed.

I’m sure that there were some fellow passengers who were of the breed that are never happier than when they are complaining, but from our perspective, every aspect of the holiday was faultless without a single minor niggle.

We have just returned from a fantastic week aboard the MS Star of Luxor. Everything was of superb quality. The food was great, the staff very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and a special mention to Mohammad Saiid who was brilliant. He called us “family” and thas just how we felt. He was there for any query we might have, night or day. Also our Egyptologist, Sam was great and so knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this crusie and will do it again.

My friend and I had a wondeful time on the M.S Star of Luxor 2nd-9th July 2007. My friend Julie had her 50th Birthday on board and Mohammed Saiid and all the staff made sure she had a special time. The cabin was decorated and a cake was provided and the restaurant staff sang “Happy Birthday” in 4 languages! The ship, staff and tours were excellent and Mohammed ensured we all had a good time. Our tour guide Ehab was very knowledgable and good fun. A big thank you to everyone at ASC for a great holiday from start to finish. Please extend out thanks to Mohammed Saiid who was excellent at organising everything to ensure we had a fabulous holiday. He and the rest of the staff were great fun. I will have no hesitation in recommending this Nile Cruise to friends.
