I have just returned from a weeks cruise on the Da Vinci i would just like to tell you how wonderful the cruise was.all the staff were wonderful from the cleaners with their super towel displays to the restaurant staff - to Hesham ‘H’ our so knowledgable egyptologist who made our holiday so extra special. I’m looking forward to my next trip with you!
Just returned from the nile cruise on the MS da Vinci everything was excellent food entertainment and service boat was new and clean and our tour guide Minell was very very good.
My friend Lynda and I have just returned from a 7 night cruise on the MS Da Vinci. We would like to express our special thanks to Mohammad who made our stay on board a most enjoyable one. A big thanks also goes to the tour guides and all of the staff on board all of which we found to be pleasant and friendly and nothing was too much effort for them. The standard of hygene aboard the vessel was exceptional as was the food. This trip is thoroughly recommended - you will not be dissappointed. Once again many thanks to all on board the MS Da Vinci.
With some trepidation we booked a Nile Cruise Package Holiday with African Safari, we had never been on a package holiday before. On arrival at Gatwick we were met by representatives who assisted us checking in and were most attentive. On arrival in Egypt we were met by representatives who arranged Visas and transportation to the Boat, very smart and comfortable. Excellent briefings were given and we then enjoyed a superb New Years Eve party thzat went on into the early hours. Food was very good and the Tour Guides outstanding, there knowledge and attention was more than we expected. The 10 tours included in the package were “Wow” visits. Our Guide, Sharif, was particulalry helpful in all ways and became a daily feature of our holiday. A gala fancy dress party was also enjoyed, again lasting until the early hours. All in all, a memorable holiday worth repeating. Well Done African Safari.
MS Da Vinci - 14th to 21st Jan 08 A fantastic holiday! Lovely boat with friendly efficient staff. The guides knew their stuff. Mohammad did his job so well and Lena our personal Egyptologist was excellent. Well organised for greeting and transportation of transfers and trips.
Our holiday on the Nile far exceeded our expectations! The Da Vinci is a beautiful ship, our cabin on middle deck was very comfortable, spotless, spacious and had plenty of hot water for showers. Mohammed Saiid organised each event perfectly, with a brilliant sense of humour. The Egyptian evening was great fun, and on another evening we were amazed by the Dancing Devisher!!
Our tour guide, Shareef must be the best tour guide in Egypt - his enthusiasm and amazing information given in such an entertaining manner enthralled even my husband, who had no special interest in history.
Each and everyone of the crew made us feel welcome and in particular our cabin attendant, Hasim with special memories of his towel sculptures, our waiter, Omar, and the Omelette Chef. Use the ship’s shop - surprisingly, it is cheaper than purchases in the souks, after bartering, and no hassle! An amazing holiday. Thank you.
Having just returned from my first solo trip on the MS Da Vinci on your Nile cruise .I felt I needed to say a big thank you to all the staff who have given me a holiday of a life time. For anybody contemplating doing a solo trip I can defiantly reassure them that this is the place to be.
The service is faultless, everyone so kind and friendly. Plenty of choice in the restaurant and more than enough for everyone. The housekeeping staff also play their part not only in keeping your cabins spotless but by finding time to present a towel display each day for your amusement.
The guides are so knowledgeable and give each tour with such passion. The variety of tours available means that there is something to suit everyone. Finally the reason that all of this works so well is down to the endless hard work put in by the tour leader Mohammed Saiid , Who seems to work around the clock but always has a smile and time for everyone. His organization is second to none creating a wonderful ‚family’ environment. I have come home with some wonderful memories and hope to be back again soon.
Just arrived back after a wonderful week on the Nile sailing on the MS Da Vinci. The tour was very well organised and the guides very knowledgeable, and all of the temples and burial chambers were well worth seeing. The Da Vinci was excellent, well run, staff courteous and the food was superb. I would recommend the ASC and the Da Vinci to my family and friends without reservation.
Myself and my friends have just returned from our fabulous holiday on the MS Da Vinci ship. I have to say it was the best holiday the 4 of us have ever been on together. Everything about the ship was perfect, the food the hygiene the staff. The excursions were out of this world and were perfectly organised by Mohammed Saiid who worked none stop to make the whole holiday perfect. Our guide Armad did the most amazing job of explaining everything to us in so much detail we couldn’t ask for more. The whole holiday was fantastic which I can only put down to the ship, the crew and the wonderful staff. Highly recommended.
We have just returned from a Nile cruise on the MS Da Vinci. The ship and food were everything you could want. The crew all friendly and also efficient, the packed itinerary organization went like clockwork for the whole week. We returned with a wealth of photographic memories from this exceptional holiday.
