Just a few lines to say how much my sister and I enjoyed our cruise on the MS Star of Luxor, it was a fantastic week, very busy and very exciting. All the staff were excellent, and everything was very well organised. Our Egyptologist guide, Walid was brilliant; he made it all so interesting and his passion and knowledge of his subject was top class.

The food was also excellent and I would certainly recommend this holiday to anyone interested in Egypt. Many thanks for a most enjoyable week.

Sir, we have recently returned from a Nile River Cruise on the ‘Star of Luxor’ and I wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate you on the splendid organisation shown by your Company and personnel. Try as I might I have found it impossible to find fault with any part of the tour, even when Mohamed, our tour leader, decided to amend the original programme, the changes fitted seamlessly. Our table in the dining room, which I assume was put together randomly, couldn’t have been better, as during the tour we had two birthdays, a honeymoon couple and at the other end of the scale my wife and I celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary on the second day of the tour. Our table came close to monopolising the cake supply. Everyone from the boat crew up to the tour mnager were quite simply brilliant and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in adding my recommendation to those you have already received.

I have just returned from a cruise of the Nile on M.S. Star of Luxor with a few people and would like to say how much I enjoyed it. The ship was clean, comfortable and with a pleasant and friendly staff. The food was great, combined with quality service.

Our Special Thanks to your superb Crew! In particular, the Tour Leader Mohammed Saiid for excellent organisation of the tour. We were touched by his dedication and care while on board. Any concerns that we may have had were dealt by him efficiently and with tact. Our extended thanks to the wonderful tour guide Ramez who took us to the heart of Egyptian history with great accuracy and detailed knowledge. Very enjoyable.

Entertainment was super, namely, ‘The Egyptian Evening’ by Mohammed and Waleed Zayan who are perfect gentleman. Our Cruise was indeed a memorable one!

My wife and I returned from our Nile Cruise (6 - 13 August) arranged by yourselves and I just had to drop you a line to say how fabulous it was. Everything was superbly organised by yourselves and your agents in Egypt and being “cruisers” in the recent past few of years we think that you could certainly teach the likes of Royal Caribbean a thing or two. We are now saving to go on your Indian Ocean cruise followed by a safari next year.Very many thanks for probably the best holiday we have ever had.

I have just returned from Egypt having greatly enjoyed a week on the Star of Luxor from 16th to 23rd July. It was a pleasure and a privilege to take part in this cruise. The boat itself was so comfortable, the meals superb, the staff so willing and friendly, the organisation could not have been better and our three Egyptologists were superb. For me it was everything I could have hoped for and yet it was even better. We were a very happy bunch of travelers’ who left at the end of the week and I know that every individual would come again or would at least tell all their friends to do so.

You would really have to be a real misery to be critical. I congratulate you on the standards you have set at African Safari. I would be more than happy for my name to be used as a referee for anyone wanting to discuss such a holiday. You might be interested to know that three Egyptologists, who are free lance and not your employees, told us that they felt African Safari was the best by far of all the companies by whom they are hired. As General McArthur famously said “I will return”.

We were on the Star of Luxor from 24 September to 1 October 2007. We had a fantastic time on the Nile. It was all - and more - than we had hoped for. We were unable to fault anything. The brochure description was true to its word. A special mention for Mohamed (tour leader), Hesham (tour guide) and Taher (our waiter) all of whom made our week so memorable. We shall have no hesitation in recommending African Safari Club. Many thanks.

Thank you Mohammed our tour leader who always smilled - even at 4.00am to Hisham our tour guide with his wealth of knowledge and passion for his subject, to the cleaner on our deck who surprised us with his towel displays! And to all the staff who always had a ready smile. All tours were prompt, coaches, boats, horses at the ready. Thanks to all for making the holiday a unique experience.

My husband, daughter and I have just returned from a weeks cruise on MS Star of Luxor and felt we must write to say how much we enjoyed our holiday. The whole week was thoroughly well organised by our excellent tour leader Mohamed Saiid, and we truly felt part of his 'family'. Our tour guide Ayman was both knowledgeable and interesting and brought the ancient Egyptians to life. The staff on the boat were also extremely friendly and most helpful, in particular our waiter Taher.

We have just returned from Egypt having had a wonderful week on the Star of Luxor 22/29 October. A special thank you goes to the crew who made our daughters 16th birthday truly memorable. She loved the cake. Thank you for such a great holiday.
