We have just returned from our Nile Cruise and all I can say is how wonderful the trip was. The weather was fantastic, the crew brilliant, and our guide Ahmed Sabri was very attentive to us on our trips and was brilliant at doing a first class job. Anyone who has never thought of going on such a trip, should go! The food was absolutely fabulous and the whole experience was one which we will never forget. Apart from anything else, we met some lovely friends who we shall keep in touch with. Thankyou to all on the Da Vinci, you made the holiday a wonderful experience.
4th Nile Cruise, 1st with African Safari Club, it was wonderful, especially our 2 wonderful guides, on board the Fleurette, Ahmed (the big one) and the gorgeous Hisham, who were our guides and protectors for 1 wonderful week, all the crew and staff on board were super, everyone should do this cruise, excellent value, good food and amazing sites, thanks to all and African Safari Club. Will be recommending you to all our friends.
4th June 2009. Myself, friend & godaughter have just returned from Luxor. We had the most amazing time cruising the Nile on the M.S. Da Vinci. We would like to thank all the staff, they were always there to help, nothing was any bother. The trips were fantastic & well organised, our guide Ahmed Simar was a human book of knowledge, as he took his group "The Angels" round all the amazing temples. We would also like to thank Mustafa, who organised the trips & fun nights.

The food on board was delicious, varied & plenty of it, cannot fault the service in the dining hall. I would tell anybody to go on this trip, thanks once again, we didnt want to leave. We have the most fantastic memories, thank you from the visitors from Brighton.
Just returned from a fantastic week on the MS Da Vinci. Staff were excellent - friendly and so helpful, and the towel art was great fun. Food was plentiful and delicious and the excursions were great - our guide (Walid Golden) was brilliant and we learnt so much. Would not hesitate to recommend this trip to friends.
I was fortunate enough to travel the Nile with African Safari Club from 4/5/09 to 11/05/09 on the 5 star Da Vinci. What an amazing experience. 10 excursions. Quite a whistle stop tour but some wonderful temples and tombs. Our guide Mr Yehia was very interesting, amusing and very helpful. The crew on board were fantastic. I am disabled and used crutches to walk about and there was always someone there to lend a hand.

The boat was regularly cleaned and polished and my cabin was spotlessly cleaned several times every day. The people are so friendly and eager to please. The standard of food and service in the resaurant was first class as was the special attention given to my dietary requirements.

The weather was unusual as we only had sun for two days but the other days were perfect for sightseeing. The only downside apart from having to come home was the mobbing from the street vendors. Mostly good humoured but when my patience was wearing thin they became offended at my insitence that they leave me alone. One other point, tipping is a big thing. But when you get used to it you know when to say no and when to give.
The entertainment on board was very enjoyable and amusing to say the least. Mustapha our tour rep was incredibly helpful and had the most engaging smile, constantly. All in all a fabulous holiday. A huge thank you to all on board.
What a fantastic holiday! Although we were looking forward to our Nile cruise, we did not expect to be blown away by it as we were. It was incredible seeing all the ancient sites that we had previously only read about or seen on TV and to get so close to everything was amazing.

The history was brought to life for us by our brilliant guide Hany. He was a wonderful teacher - both interesting and amusing. The M.S. Da Vinci and its crew and staff were also great - myself and my daughter had been slightly concerned because we both get sea sick, but I can honestly say we never felt the boat move or bump the banks, even when docking and going through Esna lock. The reception, retaurant, cleaning and bar staff were all helpful and pleasant - everything ran smootghly and on time.

I need a gluten-free diet and I was looked after very well by the chefs and Abdul. Last, but not least, our tour leader Mostafa was brilliant. He was really good fun and helpful and also very well organised - so many people to get to so many places and not a single hitch. Thank you, everyone!
We stayed on the M.S Da Vinci (April 2009). Been on 5 Nile Cruise ships and this is the best Nile Cruise we have been on with a beautiful marble staircase, comfy chairs, selection of books and games, pool table, sitting in the bar area at the front of the ship was awesome. 3 excellent meals a day with ample choice served by Omarh who was always smiling and gave great service. Hesham Raffat our Egyptologist, God Thoth (wisdom & learning) was looking after us when he sent Hesham to guide us around the excursions. How good was he? Other groups were ignoring their guide and were watching & listening to him, so make sure you ask to be in his group at the welcome meeting.
My husband and I have just return from a hoilday of a life time. We had a fabulous first week on board the M.S. Fleurette and a second equally fabulous week at the Mercure Hotel in Luxor. Both the ship and the hotel were clean and extremely comfortable and the food was varied and plentiful. The staff in both places were very helpful, but my biggest complement and thanks goes to our tour guide Rani who made every excursion more interesting than the one before. She was always on hand to answer questions and her knowledge and passion for her history and culture was never weaning.

I can honestly say it was the best holiday I have even been on. I loved the history, the culture and the people and are planning to return next year we the African Safari Club ofcourse!. Thank you again.
