We just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had on board the M.S. Star of Luxor. The guides and Mohammad, the tour leader, were excellent and we felt well looked after and safe throughout the week. We’ll definately be going back!
I have just returned from a 1 week cruise on the MS Star of Luxor (returning on 3rd September 2007). This was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anywhere. The guide 'Ayman' was very knowledgeable and very friendly. To all that remember me from the cruise on 27th August - 3rd September 2007 this is Jeremy reporting on a very satisfactory Nile Cruise.
One word only can describe our recent Nile Cruise and that is AMAZING. The staff were great, the boat was great and the tour guides fantastic. The optional excursions are a must..
My husband and I have just returned from your Nile cruise on the Star of Luxor, I would like to say what a wonderful time was had by all on ship and on all the excursions a special THANK YOU to Hisham our tour guide who was great on educating us on every tour and on the Egyptian way of life. The food onboard was excellent and varied, and all staff very eager and willing we would certainly recommend this trip to our friends.
We stayed on the M.S. Star of Luxor from the 3rd of September to the 10th 2007. I can honestly say the best way to experience Egypt for the first time I'd to go on a cruise. Absolutely 100% hassle free. I can highly recommend the Star of Luxor absolutely all of the staff were magnificent. I can especially congratulate Mohamed Saiid (tour leader), the three guides, and the waiter! And everyone else. The staff on board, are what made the trip so magnificent! Thank-you.
I have just returned from a cruise of the nile on M.S. Star of Luxor with a few people and would like to say how much I enjoyed it. The ship was clean, comfortable and with a pleasant and friendly staff. The food was great, combined with quality service.
Our Special Thanks to your superb Crew! In particular, the Tour Leader Mohammed Saiid for excellent organisation of the tour. We were touched by his dedication and care while on board. Any concerns that we may have had were dealt by him efficiently and with tact. Our extended thanks to the wonderful tour guide Ramez who took us to the heart of egyptian history with great accuracy and detailed knowledge. Very enjoyable.
Entertainment was super, namely, 'The Egyptian Evening' by Mohammed and Waleed Zayan who is perfect gentleman. Our Cruise was indeed a memmorable one!
My wife and I cruised the Nile last week on MS Star of Luxor and felt we had to thank all involved for one of the best holidays we have ever enjoyed. The superb support provided by Tour Leader Mohammad Saiid and the tour guides was matched by the good natured efficiency shown by the staff on board. The scheduled tours were smoothly organised and very informative, whether to view ancient monuments or to experience modern Egypt, and gave us a fascinating insight into the country and its culture. The accommodation on board was excellent and the entertainment could not be faulted.
What a lovely time my husband Terry and I had on the star of Luxor on the 10th of September 07 on a scale of 1-10 we give it 100%. A big thank you to everybody on board and to our six special friends we shared our meals with; Peter, Denise, Mary, Jill, Chris and Marjorie.
We thank you all for our wonderful memories.
My wife and I can recommend Nile cruising - nothing like it for tranquility and the interest of the scenery, river, verdant riverbank, wildlife and desert, passing by at a leisurely 8 miles per hour. For contrast there are the tours ashore, which were really lessons in history, archeology, religion, put across so well by the 3 guides on board. The 100 or so passengers were all up for it, despite the early morning starts. Even the hassling by market vendors and constant demands for baksheesh seemed but a trivial nuisance after a time. (Take supplies of wrapped sweets and biros to dish out to the children).
I have just returned from simply the best holiday ever! Have always been fascinated with Ancient Egypt as a child and the Tour Leader and Guides were very knowledgeable and exceeded all my expectations. I would especially like to thank Mohammad, our tour leader, who made sure our stay was enjoyable to the very end! And our tour guide Heshem who taught us the world of Ancient Egypt.
The ship was spotless and comfortable with many places to sit and relax while traveling down the Nile. The food was good, so was the entertainment. And the staff were friendly with a good sense of humor.
For those who want to travel and explore exciting locations, learn something new and just have fun while being safe...go on the MS Star of Luxor. It's not to be missed!!
