A wondrful ,memorable holiday, so well organized from beginning to end .We were always well informed and looked after. Mohammad Saiid is a true ambassador to the organization. Always friendly, helpful and willing to oblige. The tour guides, “H”, Walid and Ramus were very frendly and so passionate and informative about their subject. They work so well as a team. The ship and staff gave us excellant value for money. There was a well balanced itinery for everyone!!
We will definantly recommend the Nile cruise on the M.S. Star of Luxor and look forward to a return trip.
My teenage daughter, myself and 9 year old son returned from our wonderful cruise on board the star of luxor recently. I was absolutely amazed at the value for money and the attentiveness of the staff. We definately were made to feel like ‘family’. Mohamed is especially talented for one so young, and appears to effortlessly hold the whole thing together, he and his staff cannot be praised enough!
Looking forward to being part of Mohamed’s family again very soon!

We have just returned from one of the best holidays we have ever had. The accommodation, the food, the trips, the guides, the staff and the weather were all second to none. We'd especially like to commend Ramez, our Egyptologist. We have returned with a real appreciation of Egyptian history and culture. We would recommend African Safari Club and this trip to everyone. Thank you for such an amazing holiday cruise! The Star of Luxor was a fab ship, very clean, the staff were all wonderful, the food was excellent. This was my first solo holiday, and just incase, I took some studying to do. I never even opened my books! I met some wonderful people, and the excursions were just so amazing. My favourite sights were the hall of columns in Karnak temple and the Sphinx in Cairo - enhanced by the private plane chartered to get us all there!
Mohamed was a wonderful tour manager and the Egyptologist for our group, Waled, was so knowledgeable. More than that, he made it all so interesting and understandable.Looking forward to returning soon, and to anyone considering this trip - book it now!
It was amazing! Everything about it, from the places to the people! Everyone worked so hard to make us all feel comfortable, and they did just that! Some of the sights were just breath taking, unforgetable! A special thanks needs to go out to the cabin crew, they made everything so welcoming and met our every needs! the egyptolagists were fantastic! They were full of interesting facts about the temples and sights around egypt when we were off the boat, but back on the boat they were a scream! Joking around and just having a really good time with us! And our tour leader Mohammad! What can I say? He really did make this holiday for me! Always there with his jokes keeping everyone happy! I'm sure everyone will agree with me when I say he really made us all feel at home, and like one big ‘family’.
It was the most amazing experience of my life, and I am planning to come back some time, to re-live the whole thing again!
My daughter and I have just returned from a week on MS Star of Luxor. I was apprehensive, I’ve always wanted to visit Egypt, she’s 18 and doesn’t mind where she is as long as she can sunbathe. She got to do that, and shop(!) and to learn a great deal about the history of Egypt under the enthusiastic and knowledgeable guidance of Sherif who had a fantastic sense of humour and was very personable. Mohammed organised everything very well and took care of everyone with loads of good advice about custom and practice. We were impressed with the ship and the friendly and professional attitude of every member of staff. We would recommend this cruise to others. (Sherif mustn’t forget he’s going to broaden his horizons and honeymoon in Europe)
Just wanted to say a big thankyou to African Safari Club for a wonderful time on the Star of Luxor. The boat was very clean, food was good, all of the staff were polite and friendly. The excursions were excellent as was the onboard entertainment! The tour rep Mohammed made sure everyone felt part of his ‘family’, and the tour guide Sherif was excellent! My daughter who is 19 came on the trip with me, I had my doubts as to whether she would enjoy the experience. I needn't have worried as she loved every minute and didn't want to come home. We will be back very soon!!!
Returned a few days ago from a marvellous trip on the MS Star of Luxor for one week. Exceptional! The ship was very clean and the staff very friendly. Mohammad Saiid, the tour representative, was very informative and very helpful. Always there from early morning (and I do mean early ... 4.00am departures!) until very late at night. Our tour guide, Ahmed, was very good, always supplying us with information; we learnt a lot. The highlight was the tour to Cairo, where our tour guide was ‘H’ - very passionate about his country and it's treasures. An unbelievable experience. Well done African Safari Club.
This was a memorable and truly wonderful holiday. First class organisation, from the chap who met us at Gatwick to being dropped off at Luxor airport. Mohammed and his team were tireless in their efforts to get us to all the sites we wanted to visit, and their unfailing expertise and good humour were much appreciated. The staff on the boat and at the Mercure the next week were charming, patient, and extremely helpful. The only weak link is First Choice Airways. PLEASE consider another carrier!! Otherwise..a wonderful holiday to treasure!
We have just returned from the most amazing adventure on the MS Star of Luxor. It will be a holiday that will never be forgotten. We have experienced the hospitality, culture and friendship of the wonderful people who are the Egyptians. Their heritage has to be one of the worlds treasures and everyone who is able should see it. We were treated to spectacular sights and will definately be passing on the experience and going back when we can. A special thankyou to our guide, Little 'H' who made us all fell very special throughout the journey. Thank you to all of those staff out there that made it so memorable.
