ABOUT YOUR CABIN

ELECTRICITY
Each cabin has a 220 Volts power point which takes round 2 pin plugs. This can be used for a hairdryer or other small appliances. There is a further 220 Volts power point in the bathroom suitable only for electric razors. For safety reasons, electric irons may not be used. You should check with reception before using any appliance with a power consumption of more than 300 Watts.

SAFETY ON BOARD
The M.S. Da Vinci meets the most stringent safety regulations. The boat is equipped to the latest Local River Transport Authority standards and the crew undertake strict safety training. However, a safe and relaxing cruise also depends on the co-operation of our passengers and we therefore request that you read the following information very carefully.

LIFE JACKETS
Your life jacket is kept in your cabin and must be left there so that it is readily available in case of emergency. Instructions for use are also posted in your cabin.

FIRE PRECAUTIONS
Fire safety precautions are posted in various locations throughout the boat as well as in the cabins. You should familiarise yourself with these instructions as soon as possible after embarkation.

CABIN SECURITY
All cabins can be locked for security reasons and you should always keep your keys with you unless you are going ashore, at which time they should be handed to reception. Please be especially vigilant when the boat is moored and ensure all windows are closed upon leaving your cabin. We recommend that valuables are kept in a safety deposit box which can be obtained free of charge on embarkation. Please take care of your cabin and safety deposit box key as a charge of UK£10 and UK£50 respectively per lost key is levied.

WATCH YOUR STEP
Please be careful when entering your cabin or passing through doorways as there are often raised thresholds which must be stepped over. After rain and around the pool and shower areas, when the decks are wet they may be slippery, please be especially careful. Flat, rubber soled shoes are recommended on deck.
