Itinerary
This exciting four night safari is a must for real safari enthusiasts. Visit the wild and rugged landscape of Tsavo East National Parks, the exclusive Kilimanjaro-Kimana Game Sanctuary and the unforgettable Masai Mara.

Day 1: In the morning, you leave your hotel and drive to Sagala Lodge where lunch is taken. You start your first game drive whilst driving through Tsavo East on the way to the picturesque Crocodile Camp which offers a true ‘Out of Africa’ atmosphere. Time to have a cooling drink whilst looking out over the Galana River and then enjoy a relaxing dinner.

Day 2: After breakfast, enjoy another game drive through Tsavo East. After lunch you fly to the Kilimanjaro-Kimana Game Sanctuary. On arrival at the Kimana Zebra Lodge, settle into your accommodation before having dinner.

Day 3: After a morning game drive in this reserve, which is rich in wildlife, you fly to the Masai Mara and on landing you are taken to the Mara Buffalo Camp for a two night stay. After lunch, there will be an afternoon’s game drive. Before sunset you arrive back at the camp which is set right on the banks of the Mara River. Enjoy dinner in this wonderful setting.

Day 4: After breakfast, you leave for a full-day game drive which includes a ‘big game hunter’s’ picnic lunch in the wilderness. With its innumerable species of animals, ‘the Mara’ is one of the most densely populated wildlife regions in Kenya, being home to vast herds of zebra, buffalo, and gazelle, peacefully grazing yet constantly aware of their many watchful predators - lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena. You might even be lucky enough to witness the drama of a chase. You drive back to the camp in time for dinner.

Day 5: Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast and a further game drive gives you time to take those last, memorable photographs. After an early lunch, you are taken to the airstrip for the two hour return flight to Bamburi, arriving at your hotel in time for dinner.

(Park entrance fees are not included: approximately £91 per person, payable locally).

Day 1: In the morning transfer to Bamburi airstrip. From here you fly west, past majestic Mount Kilimanjaro to the Masai Mara. On arrival you are taken to the Mara Buffalo Camp for a four night stay. Another game drive will follow in the afternoon, returning at sunset for dinner and an evening around the campfire - time to sit back and contemplate this unique setting.

Day 2 - 4: Enjoy three full days of game watching in this world-famous reserve. The vast plains of the Masai Mara cover some 1,510sq km and support a wide variety of wildlife. Experience African wildlife at close quarters - look out for lion, cheetah, elephant and maybe even the elusive leopard. Vast herds of buffalo, plains zebra, gazelle and wildebeest seasonally migrate between the plains of the Serengeti and the Mara’s grassland.

Day 5: Set off shortly after daybreak on an early morning game drive when the animals are at their most acrive. Return to camp for breakfast before being taken to the airstrip for the two hour return flight to Bamburi, arriving back at your hotel in time for lunch.
