Itinerary
This exciting four night safari is a must for real safari enthusiasts. Visit the wild and rugged landscape of Tsavo East National Park, the exclusive Kilimanjaro-Kimana Game Sanctuary and the unforgettable Masai Mara.

Day 1: In the morning you leave your hotel and drive to Sagala Lodge where lunch is taken. You start your first game drive whilst driving through Tsavo East on the way to the picturesque Crocodile Camp which is situated on the outskirts of Tsavo East National Park and overlooks the Galana River. The camp offers a true ‘Out of Africa’ atmosphere. Time to have a cooling drink before having dinner.

Day 2: After breakfast, you fly to the Masai Mara for a one night stay at the Mara Buffalo Camp. The ‘Mara’ is home to vast herds of zebra, buffalo, and gazelle, peacefully grazing yet constantly aware of their many watchful predators – lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena. You might even be lucky enough to witness the drama of a chase. There is a game drive in the morning and, after lunch at the camp, enjoy a further game drive. Before sunset you arrive back at the camp which is set right on the banks of the Mara River. Enjoy dinner in this wonderful setting.

Day 3: After breakfast, you fly to the Kilimanjaro-Kimana Game Sanctuary. You set off on your first game drive before returning to the camp for lunch. There will also be a game drive in the afternoon. You then return to the camp and perhaps enjoy a traditional ‘sundowner’ before dinner.

Day 4: There will be morning and afternoon game drives in the Game Sanctuary with lunch taken at the camp. Today, if you wish, you have the opportunity to participate in a course to learn and understand the basic role of a Game Ranger by theory and practical lessons. You will also take a walk with the Ranger to learn how to read animal tracks and recognise the local plants and vegetation before arriving at the Hippo Pool. (Please note: the game drives listed for this day may not be undertaken whilst participating on the course). Overnight stay at the camp.

Day 5: Enjoy an early morning game drivebefore breakfast. You are then taken to the airstrip for the return flight to Bamburi, arriving at your hotel in time for lunch.
