Itinerary
A five-night bus safari visiting Tsavo East, one of Kenya's oldest and largest National Parks and African Safari Club's private Kilimanjaro-Kimana Game Sanctuary, which has spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day 1: After an early morning breakfast, depart your hotel. Drive, by bus, to the Crocodile Camp in Tsavo East National Park and have lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and return to the Crocodile Camp in time for dinner.
Day 2: Depart Crocodile Camp after an early breakfast and drive to Sagala Lodge, also located in Tsavo East National Park. Enjoy lunch at the lodge and an afternoon of game drives before returning for dinner.
Day 3: After an early breakfast, depart Sagala Lodge and drive to the Kilimanjaro-Kimana Game Sanctuary. Check in at Leopard Lodge and have lunch before enjoying an afternoon of game drives. Return to the lodge in time for dinner.
Day 4: A full day of game drives within the Game Sanctuary with lunch taken at the camp. As part of African Safari Club's conservation project in the area, you will also visit our Lion Project, where orphaned lions are cared for. Perhaps enjoy a traditional 'sundowner' before dinner at the camp.
Day 5: After breakfast return to the Sagala Lodge in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon on game drives before returning in time for dinner.
Day 6: Depart the Sagala Lodge after an early morning breakfast. Drive back to your hotel in time for lunch.
