Kenya has no fewer than 40 national parks and game reserves supporting a wide range of unique habitats. From the great wilderness of Tsavo National Park to ASC’s exclusive Kimana Game Sanctuary situated at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro to the vast plains of the Masai Mara; bird and beast roam free in their natural habitat. For years adventurers, travellers and photographers alike have been drawn to Kenya's natural beauty to sample what to many is the ‘Real Africa’.
African Safari Club offers a superb range of safaris in Kenya, from one night ‘tasters’ to a fabulous seven night expedition. Come with us on safari and experience the ultimate holiday adventure. Each day extensive game drives are arranged, sometimes at day break when many of the animals are at their most active. You travel in four wheel drive Toyota Land Cruisers, Land Rovers, Unimogs (open back lorries) or specially adapted mini-buses led by experienced drivers/guides, all with a vast knowledge of the game reserves and when and where to find the animals. However, specific sightings cannot be guaranteed. With all meals included in the price, our safaris represent excellent value for money.
When driving to or from the game parks you will travel by air-conditioned coach. On most of these safari itineraries you will fly at least one way aboard one of our fleet of Twin Otter eighteen-seater aircraft which are based at our private airstrip at Bamburi. These aircraft are perfect for viewing the magnificent scenery, including Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting), enjoying a bird’s eye view of Kenya and her wildlife en-route.
Bamburi airstrip is approximately a ten minute drive from our hotels at Shanzu Beach and Mtwapa and 45 minutes from Kilifi.
If for any reason flights to/from Bamburi are not possible, it will be necessary to fly to/from Moi Airport, Mombasa, approximately 30 minutes drive from Shanzu Beach and Mtwapa and 75 minutes from Kilifi.
To secure your place on a Kenya Safari, we strongly recommend that you book before you depart on holiday. Safari prices may differ locally.
Children between 6 and 15 years will receive a 20% reduction. Children under 6 years are not accepted on safari.
On these safaris you vacate your hotel room and your luggage will be placed in safe storage. Please note that we cannot guarantee the same room on your return. For hotel stays of one or two nights either before or after your safari, regrettably, a specific hotel cannot be confirmed; details will be given to you in resort.
Park entrance fees are payable at your hotel prior to departing on safari. Entry fees are charged in US$ but can also be paid in £ sterling and Euros. The park entrance fees shown are set by the parks themselves and should serve as a guideline only. Although we endeavour to ensure the fees are as accurate as possible, we have no control over any increases that may be made.
Please note: We cannot guarantee the date of departure of any safari although we will naturally do our best to meet all specific requests. We try our best to keep to published itineraries, but we reserve the right to vary them as may be necessary from time to time. Safaris can only be operated subject to a minimum number of participants. If we are unable to operate the safari you have booked we will offer you an alternative or a full refund.
