All cabins have a private shower and wc, air conditioning, an internal telephone, taped music, a safe and adequate storage space. The majority are outside with a port-hole or window. However, port holes on Caribbean deck may be covered during adverse weather conditions.
Most of the suites have two bathrooms, mini bar and hair dryer.
Each cabin is assigned a steward. Your stewards name is shown on a card in your cabin. He is responsible for distributing fresh linen and for ensuring that your cabin is spotless. He will also check that you have soap and shampoo and that your bed is turned down at night. An early morning cup of tea or coffee can also be brought to your cabin. At any other time you can telephone for tea and coffee for which a charge is made.
Each cabin has two power points which take round two pin plugs. One (110/220 volt AC) in the bathroom suitable only for electric razors and the other (110 volt AC, 60 Hz), by the dressing table in your cabin and may be used for a hairdryer and other small appliances. Electric irons may not be used for safety reasons. You should check with reception before using any appliance with a power consumption of more than 300 watts. Should your appliance not be equipped accordingly you can hire a hairdryer from the Beauty Salon.
Each cabin has individually adjustable airconditioning. It is strictly forbidden to open the cabin porthole since this would have serious consequences for the air-conditioning throughout the ship. Please note that occasionally during adverse seas the Captain may order that the hatches are closed over the portholes.
In your cabin you will find a receiver for the ships intercom with two channels. On channel 2 you can receive the news in English. Important announcements will be made over the ships intercom, also in your cabin.
Most of the suites are equipped with a television which may only be used to view videos, which are available, free of charge, from the Tourist Office.
