 As hotel grading systems in Kenya differ considerably from those you are accustomed to in Europe, we have developed our own unique system to give you an idea of the standard of our hotels.Our classifications range from 1 to 6 shields, but should not be confused with or compared to the usual international star ratings. Kenya Hotels listed by shield rating  2 Shield Rating A simple standard of accommodation with basic food, service, facilities and entertainment. 2 shield hotels: 3 Shield Rating Basic Standard of accommodation with good food, service, facilities and entertainment. 3 shield hotels: Coral Beach Hotel. 4 Shield Rating Good Standards of accommodation, food, service, facilities and entertainment. Four shield hotels: Laguna Sea Lodge, Paradise Beach Hotel and Shanzu Beach Hotel.  4.5 Shield Rating Properties that, in our opinion, are above the category listed, but not quite to the next standard (see 4 shield and 5 shield descriptions above and below for reference). Four and a half shield hotels: Kasr al Bahar Hotel, Palm Beach Hotel, Vasco Da Gama Hotel and Dolphin Hotel. 5 Shield Rating Very good standards of accommodation, food, service, facilities and entertainment. 5 shield hotels: Flamingo Beach Hotel. 6 Shield Rating Excellent standards of accommodation, food, service, facilities and entertainment. 6 shield hotels: |
