Madagascar is a beautiful island and offers spectacular scenery from flat plains and large rivers, rolling hills rising to mountain ranges, to tropical rain forests, terraced rice fields and white sand beaches.

You first visit bustling Zanzibar and Anjouan, with its profusion of lakes and deep valleys. On Madagascar, you spend two days both in Antsiranana, or Diego Suarez as it is most commonly known, considered to be one of the world’s finest natural harbours, and on the perfumed isle of Nosy Bé. On saying farewell to Madagascar, the coral island of Mayotte awaits and finally relax on the tiny atoll of Mesali. A perfect way to end this unique cruise.

Day 1: Monday. UK - Mombasa, Kenya.
Fly overnight direct from Gatwick to Mombasa.
Day 2: Tuesday. Mombasa, Kenya.
Morning arrival. Transfer to M.S. Royal Star after lunch at an African Safari Club hotel. Sail at 1700 hours.
Day 3: Wednesday. Zanzibar, Tanzania.
Arrive at 0700 hours. Sail at 1700 hours.
Day 4: Thursday. At sea.
Day 5: Friday. Anjouan, Comoros.
Arrive at 0700 hours. Sail at 1200 hours.
Day 6 & 7: Saturday & Sunday. Antsiranana (Diego Suarez), Madagascar.
Arrive at 1200 hours and stay overnight on board. Sail at 1600 hours on Sunday.
Days 8 & 9: Monday & Tuesday. Nosy Bé, Madagascar.
Arrive at 0700 hours and stay overnight on board. Sail at 1700 hours on Tuesday.
Day 10: Wednesday. Mayotte, Comoros.
Arrive at 0800 hours. Sail at 1600 hours.
Day 11: Thursday. At sea.
Day 12: Friday. Mesali, Tanzania.
Arrive at 0800 hours. Sail at 1800 hours.
Days 13 - 15: Saturday - Monday. Mombasa, Kenya.
Early morning arrival and transfer to an African Safari Club hotel for a three night stay.
Day 16: Tuesday. Mombasa, Kenya - UK.
Transfer to Mombasa airport for your direct return daytime flight to Gatwick.
