Each port of call will show you both ancient and modern sights - leaving you with memories that will last forever.
Each port of call will show you both ancient and modern sights - leaving you with memories that will last forever.
Your first port of call is Suez, gateway to Egypt’s famous canal. From here you can visit frantic and atmospheric Cairo with its fascinating Pyramids and famous Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum and, of course, the timeless River Nile. At Sharm el Sheikh you will surely be lured away from its beaches to visit the 6th century St. Catherine’s Monastery where monks still live in complete seclusion. Next is Aqaba, where Petra, now called one of the seven 'new' Wonders of the World, and the amazing desert landscapes of Wadi Rum await you. Finally from Safaga, you can visit the world-famous sights of Luxor, from the awe-inspiring Valley of the Kings and Queens on the West Bank to the amazing temples of Karnak and Luxor on the East Bank. So much history and so many sights in just eight wonderful days!
