Days 1 & 2: Saturday & Sunday. Heathrow - Cairo - Suez, Egypt.
Afternoon departure from Heathrow on Saturday for your flight to Cairo.
On arrival in Cairo on Saturday evening, you have the choice to overnight at the 5* Intercontinental Pyramids Park Hotel which is situated close to the Pyramids at Giza and join one of the three, full day exciting optional excursions on Sunday. After your excursion, you will transfer to M.S. Royal Star at Suez.
Alternatively, for those clients not wishing to visit Cairo, you will transfer directly to the ship on Saturday evening and have a day at leisure in Suez on Sunday. On Sunday evening, sail to the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula.

Day 3: Monday. Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt.
From here you can take an excursion into the spectacular Sinai Mountains and visit the Monastery of St Catherine which lies at the foot of the mountain where Moses is said to have received the Ten Commandments. Alternatively, take the more strenuous climbing excursion in the Coloured Canyon, a magnificent natural phenomenon in the fringe mountains around Nuweiba. Sail to Aqaba.

Days 4 & 5: Tuesday & Wednesday. Aqaba, Jordan.
From this port, take an excursion to one of the best-known sights in the Middle East - the 'rose-red' city of Petra. For lovers of nature, there is an excursion to Wadi Rum with its magnificent desert landscape. Sail on Wednesday to Safaga.

Day 6: Thursday. Safaga, Egypt.
Not to be missed is a full day excursion to Luxor with its host of ancient monuments and temples - from the impressive pillars of the Karnak Temple to the tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings. Sail to Hurghada.

Day 7: Friday. Hurghada, Egypt.
A day at leisure in this popular Red Sea resort. Perhaps wander around the town, swim, snorkel, or just soak up the Egyptian sunshine. Sail to Suez.

Day 8: Saturday. Suez - Cairo, Egypt - Heathrow.
Transfer to Cairo airport for your morning flight to Heathrow.
