Cruise Ship & Cruise Line

Fully air-conditioned, the M.S. Royal Star is a traditional ship of great character and well suited to cruising the Red Sea.

M.S. Royal Star

At 5,600 tons she is large enough to accommodate all the facilities you would expect to find on a quality liner and with a maximum of just 200 passengers, many of whom hail from European countries as well as other English speaking areas, offers a friendly and intimate environment, creating a true sense of camaraderie.

With a ship’s complement of 130 officers and crew you will be assured a high standard of service. The Filipino and Indonesian stewards are often praised for their friendly and obliging manner and the European cruise team will ensure that all your needs are catered for. We also have a doctor on board for your peace of mind.

Meals are prepared by master chefs. Breakfast can be taken buffet style on deck around the pool or in the charming Belvedere restaurant, where lunch and sumptuous seven course dinners are usually served at two sittings.

During your time on board or while on excursions, we suggest casual, light clothing. Evenings are generally informal, the suggested dress for gentlemen is shirt and trousers, and ladies should dress for comfort. There will be one 'formal' night whilst on the cruise. Some gentlemen choose to wear a dark suit or dinner jacket and the ladies, evening or cocktail dress. However, many do dress less formally on this evening.

Evening entertainment is provided by a small dance troupe, the resident band, the ship’s crew and occasional cabaret acts.

Cabins

All cabins have a private shower and wc, airconditioning, an internal telephone, a safe, taped music and storage space. The majority are outside with a porthole. Deluxe cabins have the added benefit of a small seating area. Most of the suites have two shower rooms, mini bar, table and two chairs, hairdryer and TV for videos, which are available from the Tourist Office.

The romantic Honeymoon Suite also has a fourposter bed and a small seating area with a sofa. The spacious Presidential Suite also has a separate lounge area and a private terrace with sun loungers. A small lift serves all decks except the Caribbean Deck.
