I thought I should share my views on one of the best holidays I have experienced for a long time.
After researching for a long time we chose African Safari Club because of the exciting safari itinery and value for money. We spent an idilic 1 week on safari sandwiched between 4 and 3 days at the Flamingo Hotel. The information provided in the brochure was spot on. The Flamingo Hotel is in a beautiful location and yes, the accommodation can be basic in places for those travellers used to 4* and 5* hotels in Europe; but to offset that you were treated like royalty by the hotel staff and your every whim was catered for.
From start to end the organisation by African Safari Club was excellent. The safari camps were fantastic and the quality of the safari superb. The drivers were extremely knowledgeable about the animals and they were also very competent drivers indeed, we all felt very safe in their hands.
The memories from this holiday will stay with me forever and I will definately be booking another African Safari Club holiday again soon.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable holiday with your Travel Company.
We took this holiday (our first to Kenya) in hope of seeing animals – especially elephants in their natural habitat and taking the ‘Red Elephant Safari’ more than fulfilled our dreams.

The driver of the safari bus went out of his way to make sure we saw as many types of animals as possible. We canot describe the thrill of seeing two giraffe and later an elephant crossing the road right in front of our bus.
We found the staff at the hotel – The Flamingo Beach – and on safari very friendly and helpful without expecting anything in return. The Kenyan people we came into contact with made us feel very welcome.

It was a pleasure travelling with your company – and at the special offer of half price an excellent value for money. We look forward to our next trip with you.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel at exactly the same time of year, i.e. early March, each for two weeks. Again we have had the most fantastic time, fabulous weather (although rather humid) but the hotel & staff were again wonderful & we were looked after like royalty.

The hotel is great, the pool superb, all spotlessly clean. Yes, the rooms are basic as the brochure says. Yes you have to pay for water. coffee & all drinks, also sun beds - but the brochure says this also (& the prices are nominal). The price charged for flights, all food (plenty of choice & very good) & accommodation is excellent value for money. We shall certainly go again next year .This time we were joined by friends who were absolutely besotted by the friendliness of the staff & the whole ambience of the hotel, exactly the same as we are.

A tip for would be travellers - take a torch (useful particularly on safari), a plug with socket extensions (only 1 plug in the average room & not sufficient if you need to re-charge cameras, phones & use hairdryer,etc,)

Just a few lines to say how much we enjoyed our recent Holiday/Wedding you organised at your Flamingo Hotel, Mombasa. I must say that we had high expectations of the holiday but these were surpassed. We are both seasoned long haul travellers and have covered most of the world between us, but this holiday was one of the best we have ever had. The flight was on time and the service was very good.
The Hotel was very good indeed. The location was prefect, the food and service very good, the resort and hotel managers were very attentive and any little niggles we did have were resolved very quickly and professionally.
We would also like to thank Frieda who organised the wedding. She did a splendid job, lovely cake, prefect rose bouquets, and an excellent photographer who caught all the casual shots as well as the posed ones. We would also like to add the location couldn’t have been better with the backdrop of the Indian Ocean, what could be more romantic?
As you may know we went as a party of 6 and the praise was unanimous without exception one of the best holidays for all of us.
Once again a big sincere thank you and if all goes well we are hoping to revisit next year for our anniversary.

We would like to thank you for a wonderful holiday and how well we were taken care of at our hotel, The Flamingo Beach, for the three days we stayed.

It was our first holiday in Kenya and we are glad that we chose to travel with African Safari Club and hope to travel with you again next year, perhaps in September and take a different safari than the two we experienced this year. Thank you.

Just returned from a really good holiday. The Flamingo Beach Hotel was clean with good friendly staff - the swimming pool is really good with lots of room so that swimmers able to have their own space.

The Safari was really well organised, the airplane taking to the Safari was not the most comfortable but as it was a short flight only it added to the fun of the holiday.

Night entertainment was lacking in the hotel but there is a shuttle bus which takes you to the other hotels which are nearby with entertainment usually laid on by one of them, if you can be bothered after a day sightseeing or lazing by the pool.

Overall felt the holiday was good value for money and will certainly book to go with African Safari again - in the not too distant future I hope.

I just want to say that in the four times that we have been to Kenya, both myself and my husband have had a wonderful time. We have always stayed at Flamingo Beech Hotel, and it is so warm and welcome there. Thank you.

This will be our 3rd Visit to Flamingo Beach Hotel.
We came on our 2nd trip for 3 weeks again, knowing that my husband was returning home to face his intensive cancer treatment from the beginning, ending 3 months later.
He responded very well, and very bravely I thought. He claims that he could not have done it without that holiday. The best New Years Eve we have ever had. We so look forward to being with you again.
We made an early booking as we know that period is always very busy, but I am not sure that we can wait until December to see you again. The family are also visiting you in October.
The beach, the swimming pools, the food, the entertainment the kind attention, the magnificent gardens, the birds and the wild life, all just breathtaking.
