I shall be filling in my “Appraisal Form” following our holiday at your Flamingo Beach Hotel, but I thought that I would drop you a separate line to say how much we enjoyed our two week holiday, and to thank all your staff involved in planning it and making it such a success.

Your booking staff Michelle and Emma were extremely helpful, and fortunately as a retired couple we were able to leave at short notice which enabled us to take advantage of the discounted offer which we saw in your Daily Telegraph offer. It really was good value, and although we did not take advantage of any safari trips on this occasion we really enjoyed the facilities of the hotel, and the food and general ambience were excellent. Some how we were allocated a really lovely corner room which was up one flight of stairs and thank you to whoever put us in there, it really was a great plus for us, with a close view of the ocean and a double balcony. Much appreciated!

Also one of us had a 75th birthday during the time we were with you and somehow this was picked up and the most delightful and genuine fuss of the birthday person, with floral decorations etc. which was much enjoyed!

The flights were very good, prompt departures and arrivals and the leg room on the way out was not at all bad for economy class and on the way back I reserved two seats in row 15 which was a great help and enabled my wife to stretch her leg out fully.

The staff at the Flamingo were charming and genuinely helpful, and special praise for Kamba, our table waiter, who was a real treasure, and looked after us very well.

The weather was really good and the "rainy season" produced only one really wet day, but we hope that for the sake of the countryside there will be more before the wet season moves on. We did not see a single mosquito during the whole trip!

We have no real criticisms, the transport from the airport to the hotel on arrival was a bit slow to leave and of course everyone was a bit tired, though good humoured. So thank you all for an absolutely fabulous holiday, and we hope that we may be able to return again before long.

Having been home a week now, I thought I’d send you a quick note to say thank you so much for a lovely holiday. My girlfriend and I spent a wonderful 2 weeks at the Flamingo Beach hotel, the hotel is stunning, and with one of the best pools we’ve seen. The staff are brilliant, nothing is a problem or too much trouble, and they are always smiling! We had a wonderful safari at the Tsavo national park, and saw almost all the animals. The Mombasa city tour was also an eye opener. Thanks again and we hope to use you again, and I'm sure our friends will to.

I attach to this a dozen bottles of mixed red wine for your consumption and in grateful thanks for making possible a truly magnificent holiday. The whole holiday experience was as almost faultless, on ship the staff and crew could not have been more pleasant, friendly, helpful and efficient.
Standards were very high in all departments, catering, entertainment and medical. One highlight of our experience was the Nosy Be Adventure excursion, this as you know includes outrigger canoeing and jungle walking.
Once again many thanks for making this all possible, enjoy the wine, and we aim to make another trip soon as time allows.

We have just returned from our holiday staying at the Flamingo Beach Hotel and I would just like to say that this holiday has been absolutely excellent. The Hotel and grounds were lst Class, and our rooms extremely spacious with a lovely balcony. We had the standard room but it was so clean and comfortable and everything worked absolutely fine. Before we left, after reading some of the reviews over the internet, we were really having reservations about booking this holiday, but please, just go and enjoy, as you will not be disappointed at all.

The food was exceptionally good, however we did book the Gourmet Pass which was excellent, but breakfast and lunch in the dining room was wonderful too and we may possibly not bother with the Gourmet Passes if we go again which we probably will. We had no stomach upsets at all and all of the food was immaculately presented, well covered, and no flies in the dining room as someone mentioned on a previouse review.

The staff were extremely helpful and the monkeys around the grounds were so entertaining, we were just thrilled and have some wonderful pictures. We have travelled all over the world and stayed in many many hotels, but I would again like to say that this hotel is up there with the best that we have stayed in. We also booked the Mara Simba Safari, and have such good memories of all the wonerful animals, the kindness of the African people, and this hotel which I will recommend to all of my friends.
