I returned yesterday evening from a most enjoyable 12 day African Safari Club holiday, the main part of which was the Jewels of the Indian Ocean cruise on the M. S. Royal star. Last year just before Christmas my wife, two daughters (then 19 & 17) and I had so much enjoyed the Secrets of the Seychelles cruise that we decided to spend our first Christmas away on holiday together this year on a different cruise; and how pleased we all are that we made that decision as we had a most wonderful holiday again!
An important part of that was your company’s generosity in upgrading us on the Royal Star from our luxury 4 berth cabin (101) by making available to us a second luxury cabin (228). The two girls much appreciated the privacy and comfort this provided and what would have been a lovely holiday in any case was made even more memorable. Thank you.
We very much hope we may use the African Safari Club again although this obviously depends on finances and college terms. Certainly we will all continue to recommend your cruises which are such good value and in a ship which is such an ideal size. I did work for 2 years with P&O as a ships surgeon in Canberra; a wonderful ship but we did overwhelm all the small places we visited!

My husband and i have just had another fantastic holiday with ASC.
This year was our 5th holiday and they have all been excellent. We have now stayed at Coral-Palm twice, Watamu twice and this year The Flamingo.

We hope to go back to Flamingo next January - what a fabulous way to start a New Year! All our holidays have been excellent value for money, all hotels have provided a very good service from the moment we have arrived to our departure. We cannot praise ASC enough and thank you so much for so many happy memories.

My husband & I, together with 2 friends have just returned from our first 13 night holiday with ASC, at Watamu Beach Hotel to include the Big Five Safari, in celebration of my husband's 60th birthday.
I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed the whole experience - the location of Watamu Beach Hotel was fantastic; the safari was just the most amazing experience, and the organisation could not be faulted.
We hope to be back!

A week ago I returned from Flamingo Beach hotel having spent two weeks there with my son.
What a lovely surprise to find everything went so well, the flight was excellent. I did up grade to Economy Plus and enjoyed the extra room and the food was good.
The hotel I thought was really lovely and the staff were wonderful, so friendly.

I would certainly recommend going with ASC to anyone. I really enjoyed the whole holiday and would love to come again.

We greatly enjoyed this cruise because of the small ship’s atmosphere and the beauty of the islands visited. The beach L’Anse de la Source d’Argent is by far the loveliest we have ever visited. We have seen islanders dressing their bushes and Norfolk Island pines outside with Xmas decorartions in the blazing sun; quite a novel experience.
One unforgettable moment was when hot and perspiring we went into the cathedral of Victoria to cool down and sat and listened with delight to the local choir practicing ‘’O Come All You Faithful’’.
The guide on our safari was superb and enabled us to spy a leopard sprawling in a tree at East Tsavo, what a thrill!!

We have recently returned from our second excellent stay at Watamu Beach. The staff from management to cleaners and beach attendants are excellent.
We enjoyed a superb safari to Leopard Lodge which is located in a magical spot near Mt Kilimanjaro. The Manager and staff at the Logde were superb.
We will be back!

My wife and I have just returned from a two-week stay at the Flamingo Beach Hotel in Mombasa. Whilst there, we took advantage of the location and went on two of your advertised safaris.
In this day and age where people are all too quick to criticise I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the African Safari Club staff concerned with our holiday. All the aspects of our holiday, from the initial enquiry to successful conclusion were handled admirably.
Although we are currently committed to other venues for our immediate holidays we will definitely be using your company in the future and would have no hesitation is recommending your services to our friends and relatives.

We have recently returned from a two week family holiday to Kenya with African Safari Club and have simply not had a holiday like it before. We flew from London Gatwick on 21 January to Mombasa in Economy Plus and can only give full marks to all the cabin staff on board that evening, who provided an excellent service throughout the nine hour flight. We were then transferred to the Club Hotel Sea Horse and spent a few days here relaxing before our Out of Africa safari. We found all the hotel staff extremely welcoming and friendly. The food and drink, level of service, facilities and accommodation were simply excellent. We had to reluctantly return home on the 4th February and again, had a pleasant nine hour flight back to Gatwick. In addition, all of the staff at the booking centre in the UK made it a very easy holiday to arrange for ourselves.

Our Out of Africa safari was an unforgettable experience from the moment we left the Sea Horse hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed each day and felt that we were extremely lucky to have the guides that we did. All the staff at the Crocodile Camp, Buffalo Camp and Twiga Camp could not have done more to make it so enjoyable and welcoming. The very smooth transfer from camp to camp, the flights, the game drives, brilliant food throughout and friendly staff was consistently without a hitch.

You may agree that people are much more willing to complain than to send thanks. We felt that we had such a good holiday that you should know about it and pass on appropriate praise to all involved. We have all said that the Kenyan hospitality is what made it such a holiday to remember. We felt that these folks particularly made a special effort: Leonard, head waiter at the Sea Horse hotel, and all his staff; Omar, entertainment and sporting events at Sea Horse; Bakari, our driver and guide in Tsavo East; Danson, our guide at Lake Nakuru; Athman, guide at the Masai Mara; and Johnny, guide at the Kilimanjaro-Kimana game sanctuary.

So congratulations to you and all at ASC on such a successful holiday company and may your success continue. We have no hesitation in recommending ASC and without doubt will be planning another trip to Kenya.

I have just filled in the Your Opinion Matters questionnaire and feel that some of my answers to your questions, whilst appropriate, do not actually reflect just how much I enjoyed the holiday. This is the first time I have used your company and the first time I have been to Kenya and I would certainly hope to do both again.

Your representatives, both in tbe UK and at the Club Hotel Watamu Beach, were professional, unfailingly polite and helpful, particularly in the way that they dealt with the fact I lost my return ticket!
The hotel is in a fantastic location and the staff both courteous and friendly, taking time to talk to the guests and involve them in life in Kenya and the village.

We have just returned from the best holiday we have ever had.
My husband and I have just spent our thirtieth wedding aniversay in the Dolphin Hotel. We went on the cruise to Zanzibar and and stayed at Crocodile Lodge while on safari. Everything was perfect the staff were
both friendly and helpful.
We shall be booking again with African Safari Club in the future.
